We Can Do Better

Broward County has a recycling rate of about 39%, well short of the State of Florida’s goal of 75%.

Through the Solid Waste Authority of Broward County 28 cities and the County have come together to solve our waste crisis.  With the programs presented in the Solid Waste and Recycling Master Plan, we can divert approximately 75% of our waste from disposal.
