Your waste has value.

All of us can do something to reduce the amount of waste we create every day. When we work together, we can take things out of our waste stream and use them to create something new.

Imagine plastics turned into park benches, food waste into compost, and aluminum cans converted to new cans on your local grocery store shelf.

Right now, there are probably items in your garbage cart that could be recycled, donated, repurposed, or reused. When we place items in the garbage we send them to disposal at the landfill or waste-to-energy facility.  When we recycle and reuse materials locally, we build a stronger economy and healthier environment.

We’re not asking you to be perfect, just thoughtful.  Save resources and help your community by giving items a second life.
