NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Section 286.011, Florida Statutes, the Governing Board (the “Board”) of the Solid Waste Disposal and Recyclable Materials Processing Authority of Broward County, Florida (the “SWA”), will conduct a Public Outreach and Education Subcommittee Meeting – Solid Waste Authority of Broward County Executive Committee to review the Draft Solid Waste and Recycling Master Plan starting at 10 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard, on June 23, 2025 via zoom. One or more members of the Governing Board may be in attendance, as well as other elected officials. The purpose of this Public Outreach Meeting and Education Subcommittee Meeting to review the Draft Solid Waste and Recycling Master Plan is to provide information to the public about the SWA and engage the community in developing the SWA Master Plan for an innovative, environmentally sustainable, and economically efficient regional solid waste management system. At such meeting, persons will be given an opportunity to express their views. Meeting minutes and meeting recordings will be published following the meeting.
