On March 23, 2025, the members of the SWA Governing Board will be part of a panel discussion on Rethinking Waste at a community event. Member Melissa P. Dunn, Vice Chair Beam Furr and member Caryl Shuham are panelists, and other members of the SWA, as well as elected officials, may attend. The purpose of this panel discussion is to provide information to the public about our exploring sustainable waste solutions and addressing the future of waste reduction in Broward County. During such panel there will be presentations by one or more members of the Governing Board and questions will be taken from the public. Minutes of the overall presentation will be made. The entire “Earth Day 2025” and the panel presentation will be open to the public at no charge and will take place at:
