NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Section 286.011, Florida Statutes, the Executive Committee of the Governing Board (the “Committee”) of the Solid Waste Disposal and Recyclable Materials Processing Authority of Broward County, Florida (the “SWA”), will conduct Governing Board & Executive Committee Meetings starting at 9 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard, on September 19, 2025, at Volunteer Park Community Center (12050 W Sunrise Blvd, Plantation, FL 33323). One or more members of the Governing Board and Executive Committee may be in attendance, as well as other elected officials. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss the Master Plan that includes an innovative, environmentally sustainable, and economically efficient regional solid waste management system. At such meetings, persons will be given an opportunity to provide public comment. Meeting minutes and meeting recordings will be published following the meetings. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons with disabilities requiring accommodations to participate in this proceeding should contact Elisa Jones, at [email protected] no later than five (5) days prior to the meetings.
