NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Section 286.011, Florida Statutes, the Executive Committee of the Governing Board (the “Committee”) of the Solid Waste Disposal and Recyclable Materials Processing Authority of Broward County, Florida (the “SWA”), will conduct a Governing Board Meeting and Executive Committee Meeting with Draft Master Plan Workshop starting at  8:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard, on  May 21, 2025 at Broward County Government Center West (1 North University Drive,1^st Floor Board Room – Surtax Plaza, Plantation, FL 33324). One or more members of the Governing Board and Executive Committee may be in attendance, as well as other elected officials. The purpose of this Governing Board Meeting and Executive Committee Meeting with Draft Master Plan Workshop is to discuss the development of the SWA Master Plan that includes an innovative, environmentally sustainable, and economically efficient regional solid waste management system. At such meeting, persons will be given an opportunity to provide public comment during the Executive Committee Meeting. Persons will not be given an opportunity to provide public comment during the workshop portion.  Meeting minutes and meeting recordings will be published following the meeting.
